Most households I know decorate for major holidays, but what about the lesser holidays and seasons throughout the year? They decorate for Christmas, get pumpkins for fall and maybe a bunny for Easter decor. But how do you decorate your home for Saint Patrick’s Day? I like to keep my home decor simple and clutter free, but I still love to add a seasonal touch.

One of my tips for seasonal decorating without the clutter is to use printables. A frame or two that hold seasonal or holiday printables that you can swap out easily will help you to feel like your decor is seasonally relevant but keep you from feeling like there’s *so much* clutter that usually comes with seasonal decor.

Plus, free printables can be stored flat in a folder for next year, or you can recycle them and just print yourself another next year!

Saint Patrick’s Day is traditionally green and although green is one of my favourite colors for home decor, I chose to keep these free printables black and white for modern and minimalist home decor.

There are two different phrases to choose from. I hand lettered both with a brush pen on my iPad- I love the chunky look of this hand lettering! One reads, ‘Shake your sham-rocks’ and one reads ‘make your own luck’. And you can download both for free!

These free printables are PDF files, which means you can download them and print easily on your home printer or send to print. Once you enter your email in the form below, you will be sent a confirmation email.

I have a framed quote in my entryway most seasons- I love how simple this printable black and white saint patrick’s day decor is here- it fills an awkward corner and makes the space that’s hard to decorate seasonal.

I also tried it out on my living room console. This is our plants table and I love how the modern saint patrick’s day quote looks with all the greenery from the plants. Ultimately… I had too many plants I wanted to fit on this table to make room for the frame ;)
