Guys! I’m so excited for this post today. Today, I’m challenging you to join me on a challenge I created for myself- to send mail to those you are thankful for each week in October. I’m calling it #thankfulmail and I’m going to share my progress with you on social media (Twitter and Instagram). I’d love if you played along!
In Canada, our Thanksgiving is coming up in just a couple of weeks, and In the US it’s in November. It’s the season for thankfulness and it’s so sad to see the holiday reduced to a yummy dinner. I have a hard time with this too, so I’m excited to make a conscious effort to be thankful, and to share that with others. How will people ever know we are thankful for them if we don’t communicate it? I’m really excited to get started!
So if you’d like to participate, I’m challenging you (and me!) to send some mail to a person you are thankful for once a week for the month of October (it can be a different person each week). You can be thankful for their friendship, for their support, for inspiring you… whatever it is- tell them! And to help you get excited, I’ve made up a couple printable cards that you can print off to get mailin’.
You can download the cards by clicking below- then saving the images:
Still want more #thankfulmail inspiration? I have a whole Pinterest board devoted to Thanksgiving (and there’s a lot of printables!).
Follow Colleen’s board Give Thanks on Pinterest.
AND even better, I’ve got some other bloggy gals taking me up on the challenge. And they’re coming bearing printables. I’ll share when their posts go live (exciiiiting). I hope you guys take me up on the challenge, I can’t wait to see you your #thankfulmail, so find me on Twitter and Instagram! So tell me, are you in?
(PS. if you’re tweeting me you’re in, there’s a couple other ladies you should let know too: @ritewhileucan @jenniferprod @DesignsbyMissM @megsybrant)

Love this idea! Snail mail is my favorite! I am so bad about remembering birthdays, etc. I actually made a huge point to remember a birthday this week and stuck a letter and a pair of earrings in the mail for it this morning!

Snail mail is amazing- I think it’s a lost art. Congrats on remembering! My birthday’s next week and I’d love to get snail mail, your friend is a lucky girl :)
And since you’re a snail mail fan… I’d love to see you join us Megan! Join in on social media if you’re game :)
