New Year’s Eve Napkin Wraps – Free Printable

Dec 26

As promised, I have a treat for you today! My friend Hannah has created these gorgeous printables just for you. I’m busy enjoying sugar cookies and family- so I’ll let her take it from here! XO (Also- I’m going to use the block lettered B/W for my NYE I think!)

New Year's Eve Napkin Wraps - Free Printable
Hi Lemon Thistle Readers! I’m Hannah and I blog/create over at Pommel Lane where I share my hand-lettering, offer graphic design services and share tips and tricks about my craft. I’m so excited that Colleen asked me to stop by and share a fun printable with you today! I absolutely adore her printables and party posts – it was actually what hooked me about her blog and I’m so glad we became friends! I knew the idea of a simple themed New Year’s Ever Party accent was the perfect thing to share here! I must admit, when it comes to New Year’s, I’m partial to black and a metallic gold or silver. It just screams “HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!” to me. But whether you are setting a table for 4, 10, 20 or 2, these napkin wraps are simple and can work with just about any color scheme. New Year’s is just one of those occasions where things should sparkle! fizz! and pop! so what better to use on them? Nothing I tell you, nothing!

We would love to see these napkin wraps in action so be sure to tag us on Twitter – @pommellane @colleenpastoor – and Instagram – @pommellane @colleenpastoor – as well as tagging #pommellane and #lemonthistle!

These are great! This year, we are having a lo-key family get together for New Year’s, but I might just have to alter my table to use these. Thanks for sharing!

Seriously… You’re the cutest. I would never have thought of printing out on paper for napkin rings. So creative! …also, I guess I need some white linen napkins. One day I’ll set a grown up dining table ;)

I need white linen too! I have tan…and grey (but those are from pillowcases so white would be beautiful. Hannah came up with this concept and photographed it all- so those are her gorgeous napkins… and chargers!

This room has seen so much change over the past year (swipe over to see it 2 weeks ago, 10 months ago and 1 year ago!). I took this last week to make over this space with mostly pieces we already had and I’m so so happy with the results! It’s a good reminder that some hard work, creativity and of course paint can work magic.
I’m sharing all the details (and that under stairs space!) on YouTube today (link in my stories!) and so is my friend @thediymommy (she made over her daughters bedroom for $100!).
Do you think dried grasses are only for fall decor Do you think dried grasses are only for fall decor? I used to think so, but these bunny tail grasses are too cute to put in a bin until next year. Plus the name sounds like spring decor to me ;) What do you think?

Ps. Today’s going to be a full day of playroom progress! I’ll share as much as I can in stories as I go :)

I am so excited to share this kitchen makeover with you guys! These are the same cabinets, just painted (countertops too!) And some updated finishes. I blogged the full before and after if you’d like to check it out!
Big thank you to @schaubhardware and @wagnerspraytech for partnering to make this space possible!
Ps. Most of the work done here was by the homeowners so if you’re thinking about taking on a makeover in your own home, maybe this is the encouragement you need 😘

Today I chatted with two of my blog friends in an Instagram live about DIY blogging as a job and answered some questions we get asked all the time about our work and the balance of it all! I saved it as an IGTV so you can watch it if you missed 🥰

Big thanks to @love_create_celebrate and @thediymommy for chatting with me today! One of the biggest perks of this job is all the talented ladies I’ve had the privilege of meeting and calling friends- these two are top of that list!

My favourite thing about $ave My Reno is that they encourage home owners to get involved and DIY to maximize budget. They even help kids get involved- it’s everything Shane and I work towards in our own projects.
