I know!! NO Target is so sad. Just this week I’ve spotted some wooden chairs I’m thinking of purchasing for the ends! I would love the upholstered chairs but with three toddlers in the house and another on the way, I need something that’s easy to scrub down.

However – I considered moving to Canada when trump was elected, but without Target, I simply CANNOT! How do you do it?? I would hack everything in Ikea. Speaking of . . .i am sure you can find great contrasting dining chairs for the ends at IKEA. Since your dining room is casual, make the chairs super luxurious for contrast, maybe (washable micro-) suede? Arm chairs, almost big enough to be living room chairs. That’s my two cents!

Thank you so much Ardith! We actually didn’t do the ceiling- just the valance. The popcorn is pretty minimal and in our area they even spackle ceilings of new homes!
