After a few months of living in our house, we decided it was time to update and upgrade it. I read other sites that talked about remodeling and went with a modern classic kitchen and had quartz for our countertops. It was the best decision we’ve ever made. Our toddlers and cats really like to make a mess of things in the kitchen, so cleaning up was a constant chore. But having quartz makes things easier. I don’t need to worry about stains and spills (Which are hard to remove). If there is any that mild soap can’t solve, I use BarKeeper’s Friend and it really helps big time.

I never knew quartz countertops are made from mixing natural quartz with a resin, which means the veining in the countertops is actually quartz. My husband and I are about to start a kitchen remodel, and I’ve been wanting quartz countertops for the last five years or so. I love the pigments and patterns in quartz, so it’s fun to learn they are natural! Hopefully we can find a great countertop and installation company in our local area!

It’s awesome that for a busy family, quartz is the gold standard and that it won’t stain and chip because it’s hard and non porous. Personally, I think that this would be really important because you won’t have to worry about fixing or reinstalling counters any time soon, which could be a huge benefit for a busy family. I’ll have to look into hiring a professional to install a quartz counter top.

I recently chose quartz countertop in my kitchen renovation and I love it. One thing I found out afterwards that quartz is also antimicrobial!!

I recently replace my kitchen countertops as well. It was a long wait saving for them and so worth it. Quartz countertops are perfect for busy families because they are tough. I actually asked about a marble but found out they are too porous and can stain in a kitchen. What a nightmare that would be. I love your kitchen, congratulation.
