Thank you! I am pretty sure I would have used Early American- I used it for everything! It was overtop of cedar wood :) And then I use varathane crystal clear/ diamond finish.

We definitely eyeballed it! Haha I had planned to have them more spaced but the lights at the top were way too big for 12″ in between the shelves. My only suggestion is to leave at least 18″ below the bottom shelf and the countertop.

Do you mean after staining them? Yes! But if you mean dry so they don’t crack… nope!
